Mülheim an der Ruhr in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, has a medium-size tram network consisting of three of its own tram lines, plus one of Duisburg's and one of Essen's stadtbahn lines. Some run underground in the city centre. One of Mülheim's tram lines connects with one of Essen's in the outskirts of the latter too.
